Consequences of Failure to Register with the BDO or Failure to Comply with BDO Requirements

Failure to comply with BDO requirements can result in serious financial and administrative consequences:

Failure to register with the BDO

administrative fines can range from PLN 5,000 to as much as PLN 1,000,000.

Failure to include the BDO number on documents

similarly carries a penalty of up to PLN 1,000,000.

Incorrect or untimely waste registration

a fine of up to several hundred thousand zlotys.

Incorrect reporting

financial penalties and the possibility of initiating an inspection by the Provincial Inspector for Environmental Protection.
